Features 3D/VR Stereo Photo Viewer
Turn your phone into a dynamic stereoscope with zoom capability! The 3D/VR Stereo Photo Viewer app lets you quickly and easily view your 2D or 3D stereo photos stored on your phone, found in Web pages and camera HTTP servers.
With a Cardboard VR viewing headset or a stereoscope, you can zoom into your 3D photos and see detail in stereo.
The 3D/VR Stereo Photo Viewer displays side-by-side (stereoscopic parallel MPO, JPS, JPG, PNG, individual filename suffix _L and _R ) photos.
You can access stereo photos on the Web with URL links pointing to galleries or individual photos.
The app loads Web photos from a QR code URL link, a clipboard URL link, a server URL link, or left/right photo server URLs stored in Settings option.
Use a QR code scanner to read QR code links and view photos with the app either directly or copy from the clipboard. You can swap left and right photos using a Settings option or remote Bluetooth key controller.
Remote controller keys provide many convenience features.
Bluetooth mouse control also supported.Capture 3D photos using the Camera Cha-Cha technique launched from the menu, or volume up button.
You select the camera app you want to use.
The app displays stereo photos intended for viewing with Google Cardboard type stereoscopic viewers and smartphone stereoscopes.
Enter the Cardboard VR viewing mode with menu option or configurable long press on the screen and insert your phone into the viewer. With a Cardboard VR viewer you can zoom in and out of a stereo photo by rolling the viewer right (zoom-in) or left (zoom-out).
With the zoom feature you can see more detail in high resolution photos on a smaller resolution screen and by zooming out you can see foreground subjects with more comfort.
In VR mode photos up to 6K (6144) pixels per side will display without down-scaling the image.
The viewer only resamples/scales photos with a total size larger than the product of 6144 by 6144 pixels or any side greater than 8192 pixels.
You will see the best zoomed 3D stereo photo only when you view MPO or individual left/right eye photo files with _l and _r suffix.
Your phone must have enough RAM memory and processor power to support high res photos. To reposition the image with the viewer look up/down (pitch), or left/right (yaw) slightly to begin movement, and then stop movement by returning your headset to its original position.
This will move the photo in a window to show areas of interest.
The headset move technique is named "couch viewing" because you can recline on a couch and view photos that will stay in position.
The Zoom feature can be disabled in the Settings menu or in Cardboard VR mode with the volume up key.
Zoom and photo movement may also be controlled by a mouse in VR mode.

What Our Users Say
Don't just take our word for it. Here's what our users have to say about our Android app.
"Crashes whenever switching images"
Gustaf Sjöblom
"10 minutes to scan media, and the pictures just read as 0px × 0px, wont load. very waste of time.!!!"
Fumikato
"Seems to display my custom MPO images very well. I hope the developer keeps updating and improving the local browsing features, because this is exactly the kind of app stereograph enthusiasts need!"
Tristan Pott
"Sloppy and not user friendly."
Angel Soul
"DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!"
Reborntuary
"Does not display MPO side by side 3D. I bought Pro version, just shows single image side by side. No good."
John Girard
"Works, but buggy as hell. Some settings cause the photo to repeat in the background, others cause the app to freak out and go blank before almost locking up my phone. Also seems to have a terrible method for zooming and panning. Aside from that, it has just about all the features I was looking for."
Jared M
"I wanted to use this app to view 3D sbs images in cardboard, but I dont think it uses the cardboard framework; the tracking is terrible compared to other cardboard apps. Almost seems like they use the sensors to rotate the image around the world instead of rotating the camera. It's also very sluggish and sometimes zooms and sometimes keeps rotating even though my phone is perfectly still."

"Probably the best app for viewing all kinds of stereo material on phone. It has lens correction, and very good performance while using high resolution. This combination is rare if even present in any other viewer. Lots of options too. It has room for improvement but i find that this has the best base for it."

"Render quality is fantastic, images look sharp. The control scheme is too sensitive, you often have to chase the image around the screen to get it to stay in the center of your field of view"
